Zero Waste Challenge Awareness Campaign

The Zero Waste Challenge was an initiative by Cox Communications to overhaul how waste was being considered – and ultimately separated – by it’s employees.

We developed an awareness campaign to bring attention to the problem and encourage correct sorting. The “O” in “zero” disappears as it continues around the letterform, representing the use of less and less waste over time, with the circular shape alluding to the continued recycling that needs to happen in the meantime.

This idea was executed in a series of colorful images to represent the types of waste that are able to be sorted. Headlines emphasized the positive changes in mindset for those who participate in the effort.
